My kids would call that court storm “mid”is that storming the court or fans just walking on. Not faulting them huge win and students gone
19 pages of straight filth in the post game thread and then 3 posts in here and it’s like “sir what is with the smack talk, it’s not very nice “ haHa
Meanwhile, Hawkeye fans everywhere were just breathing a sigh of relief that their state only has four and that they only have to remember one letter during their version of this cheer.Apropos of nothing, the Gopher cheerleaders just led their crowd in a less-than-rousing cheer spelling out the entire name of the state. Can’t do that in a 30-second timeout.
No issues here, brother … I have zero desire to create “teams” within our fan base, and I think posters throwing around “I told you so” posts are being unproductive. We can find positives and negatives in most games, and we shouldn’t all be singing the same tune after every performance!
With that said, I’m now confident in our chances to beat Michigan at home. For one, they showed they have vulnerabilities today. But more importantly? We just don’t lose to those guys!
I’d be willing to bet that those who were mad (which wasn’t me btw!) would be willing to let it slide if Illinois was 13-0, #2 in the country and had 5 wins by 40+ points lolAnd here lies the point. Those who were mad, don’t actually watch other games or have any idea about results outside of Illinois.
So they will be oblivious to this result. And we will rinse and repeat
We just had a game where we shot 22% from 3, so Iowa is the one in trouble.Gophers rush court after beating Iowa? Yikes. Good win for them though. Withstood the storm back by Iowa.
Something makes me think we will not similarly benefit from Iowa shooting 27% from three Sunday. Will need to be on our best game for sure.
One thing about the Brad Underwood era is we have that killer instinct more often than not on the road #RoadKillLook at Michigans road scores. They aren’t nearly the same results compared to their home/neutral results. I know I was upset about our result with PSU but mostly because I felt like we got complacent in the second half and did enough to survive but wanted them to have a stronger killer instinct. Definitely was harsh but want us prepared for tougher road games ahead.
This might just be that year when no team can win the tourney.
As opposed to Illinois, who only has 5 wins by 35+ points and is #10 in the country.I’d be willing to bet that those who were mad (which wasn’t me btw!) would be willing to let it slide if Illinois was 13-0, #2 in the country and had 5 wins by 40+ points lol
I just read the postgame thread, and many that were mad were very well informed individuals. And here lies the point. Those who were mad, don’t actually watch other games or have any idea about results outside of Illinois.
So they will be oblivious to this result. And we will rinse and repeat
Nah…I disagree. It was likely a carefully orchestrated power move (a psyop if you will)…obviously the idiots are imbeciles that can’t spell basic words.Apropos of nothing, the Gopher cheerleaders just led their crowd in a less-than-rousing cheer spelling out the entire name of the state. Can’t do that in a 30-second timeout.
Thanks. Got me to my tvKansas p, down 13 to TCU with a little over three minutes to go, makes a furious comeback to take it to overtime right now on ESPN. REALLY crazy game…
