Are you asking why most people would prefer not to load up on talent from the worst team in the MWC? The linebacker put up the same numbers in the MWC that Hood put up in the Big 10. That would be a concern. Could the CSU players have attributes that could be better maximized by our staff? Absolutely! That isn't always a guarantee.
Tanner Arkin came from CSU and he was awesome for us.

More so….how much film have fans watched of players, what’s their experience on player evals, etc.

Not calling you out. But this is literally the dumbest form of debate. Yes there will be always be select players here or there from lower levels that have had success. Always pointing to the exception and not the rule is a really bad way to debate imo. And would get yourself thrown out of most debate classes I’ve sat in.

Yes we can acknowledge that players from lower levels have worked out. We should also acknowledge that the elite programs are recruiting other P4 rosters.

I need to see that game film 👀

Excuse the crappy field. My 8man team in Decatur was pretty low budget but had some real talent with almost half the team having D1 experience ( high for 8man semi pro)
We also went down to Orlando and won the national championship that year.

Anyway the blitzing LB was a 6'7" 260lb former Virginia player who was a TE on the 49ers practice squad. Im guessing he was a better TE than LB.

But yeah, I still have eligibility, I would be more than happy to be a 4th string center or guard for 50k.

Why only 2&3 stars no 4&5 stars with our recent success? Something other than $$?

That Colorado State team from Arkin’s years would have put this Colorado State team in a locker.

PFF scores are bad, his snap count says he was a backup. His team went 2-10. He’s not an underclassmen. If someone can connect the dots on all of those negative factors on a good player comp, I’m all ears.

Another flier… dudes got 31 catches for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns in 5 seasons of ball. I’d rather have bowick lol.

Yes, the staff is a much better evaluator of talent than the average fan. However, they are not infallible. They are the same talent evaluators that went into a season with Zy Crisler as a starting RT when he could barely hold down the RG spot the year before. I'm just saying it isn't unreasonable to have some hesitancy about taking on too many players from an awful MWC team that are not proven high level players compared to taking someone like J.C. Davis who came out of the same conference from an equally crappy team.

They like the physical tools. He’s the type of prospect that gets nfl gm’s fired because they draft guys just in measurables. Regardless I trust BB so hopefully we get a lot more out of him

Just pay the refs.

I guarantee you’ll also have favorable results.
