BERTBALL IS LIFE
NFL pi being a spot foul is so brutal at the end of close games. Refs just gave Denver a field goal with a 50 yard penalty on a sort of iffy call.
Wow… just brutal for Denver. Those last couple passes looked like they were just floated up there. They had nothing on them. I thought they looked kinda funny during the game, but I guess I thought he was just trying to get a PI… which obviously would have been a good plan… I can’t imagine how conflicting the feelings were in that locker room when the news broke.Just watched clip of Payton announcing Nix's injury. He said injury happened on second to last play of OT (not including the kneel down, so the play before the Mims play).
White was clearly early and never got turned around. Nix throwing a rainbow off one leg probably threw his timing off just enough…NFL pi being a spot foul is so brutal at the end of close games. Refs just gave Denver a field goal with a 50 yard penalty on a sort of iffy call.

maybe he needs to start wearing the guardian cover. they look a little goofy, but I think they help with thatJust brutal, he’s had more than one I think they said, I hope it’s not going to be an ongoing issue for him.
The brain is the most valuable part of a human. Look goofy if you have to. If everyone wore one they wouldn't be goofy anymore.maybe he needs to start wearing the guardian cover. they look a little goofy, but I think they help with that
Can't throw 4 picks in a half.Crazy how much the little things matter in football. Texans should be up 14-7 instead it's a 7-3 deficit.
Had a TD called back for illegal shift which takes off 4 points.
But should at minimum be up 10-7 as the guy has a fumble right in front of him, inside the 5, but can't recover.
Instead it's a 7-3 Pats.
He’s by far the worst of the rules analysts on tvGene Steratore just waits for the on field officials to make their ruling & supports them. Obvious PI on Broncos.
That was eight years ago. That was a great point Nantz just brought up about Allen having played at altitude (in fact higher than Mile High) when he was in college at Wyoming.
they all stink . all are afraid of getting the NFL mad at themHe’s by far the worst of the rules analysts on tv
I would like to see PI handled the same way as college football with the max penalty of 15 yards.NFL pi being a spot foul is so brutal at the end of close games. Refs just gave Denver a field goal with a 50 yard penalty on a sort of iffy call.

the quick hook on experienced coaches has hit the pros just like it hit collegeSean McDermott out in Buffalo.
I agree, but not sure how to fix it. Sometimes in college football, the DB knows he’s beat and just grabs the receiver. In that case, 15 seems too little.NFL pi being a spot foul is so brutal at the end of close games. Refs just gave Denver a field goal with a 50 yard penalty on a sort of iffy call.

no one needs to hold a tag day for him. They were jobbed a that "interception" call thoThe AFC bracket broke so well for the Bills this year with no Mahomes, Burrow, and Lamar. Getting knocked out in the divisional round meant someone had to fall on the sword.
I know what you mean in college. Maybe it could be a time driven thing. In the last 5 minutes it's a 15 yarder. Before that it's a spot foul. Kind of awkward but it sucks to see what was a great game decided by a pretty ticky tack 45 yard penalty at the end. Buffalo had several chances but still a bad way to go out.I agree, but not sure how to fix it. Sometimes in college football, the DB knows he’s beat and just grabs the receiver. Perhaps something along the lines of blatant interference is a spot foul and everything else is 15Of course, now you’re deeper into judgment calls and even more controversy.
I just hate to see games decided by 50/50 pass interference calls that move the ball 30-plus yards.
