Can confirm … Partidge backed out on the deal … I won’t go into any further details other than saying … A man’s word is supposed to mean something … And it just doesn’t mean what it used to anymore …

Charlie has also told Bret he’s staying in the NFL whether that be as DC or taking spot on Harbaugh staff …

You obviously would know the timeline far better on this than me, or most. But I assume he "agreed" before the SB.

I can't say im shocked. You win a SB, you got a young team, great defense. A lot of emotion to it. I get it

I’ve been told to expect a very quick pivot here from Bret …
Quick pivot... does he even have a choice at this point?

With having to completely overhaul our defensive scheme, and fill out big holes in the DL?

Unless he plans to call defense himself and perhaps bring one of his offspring as a position coach

Spring Practices are around the corner right?

can’t see Walters coming back ever
- his screwing around is a terrible look (yea I know it happens everywhere , but we don’t need to ignore it )
- a decent portion of fanbase will hate it
- he was a total d1ck when he left the first time

If he makes a successful hire, no one will care about who said no. We're not losing recruits or fans or donors because a potential hire quietly walked away.
Exactly, after Lovie and Groce were let go, who said no? I can't remember a single name

Well, it is a quick pivot. I have never heard of him, but that doesn't mean much. I trust Bret.

From the article above: “I want to enjoy my career and my job, and a lot of the head coach stuff in current-day Division I college football is not enjoyable,”

Throws a fit and quits because he doesn't like changes.

You know who else doesn't like to adapt? Lovie..

Dabo.

Im not sure about this one. And can a 61 year old ex coach of Montana relate young talent? I fear this is a whiff.
