BoomJake He just fits perfectly with that starting group. You CANNOT leave him and that opens up the entire floor. He’s also been solid defensively so he is not hurting you there.
Then Andrej coming off the bench just makes that group that much better. He provides a DYNAMIC scoring option.
Finally, when both Kylan and Andrej are on the floor together, you have two guys who aren’t great three-point shooters. I like breaking that up a little bit.
Don’t change a thing.
That’s the B1G ref when he saw Kylan’s rebound dunk. They posted a bunch of pics on Facebook and I came across this fantastic pic lol. Hope the rest of the team is as locked in as this dude!!!

i think sleepers actually makes a good point is about how effective Andrej is off the bench to balance out Wagler so that they're not competing for the ball when they're on the floor together. So Jake starting or Andrej? Discuss......
Anyone in the arena could see that Andrej was working to keep the leg/ankle loose every time he was off the floor. It was clear Drej still wasn’t 100% and was hobbling between timeouts so full credit to him for gutting it out.
I don't think we're paying Andrej what we're paying for him to come off the bench.i think sleepers actually makes a good point is about how effective Andrej is off the bench to balance out Wagler so that they're not competing for the ball when they're on the floor together.
Whitman, underwood and boosters care more about winning. Jake Davis starting makes more sense. Better shooter and opens the lane a little more. Love Andrej, just an opinion.I don't think we're paying Andrej what we're paying for him to come off the bench.
Saw that! Will be interesting to see how it plays out. I like the spacing Jake brings to the first group and the punch Andrej gives us off the bench. Can't go wrong either way though.Underwood actually demurred when pressed on whether Jake would continue to start. I think we might be marginally better offensively with Jake, but Andrej is the more athletic and better defender.
I predict Andrej will be back starting in the Michigan game. Michigan just overwhelms teams with their size and athleticism and I suspect we'll want Andrej out there to help deal with Lendeborg, Cadeau and Burnett.
And so does the coach, who has said this many times over the years.Personally, I care way more about who’s on the floor during crunch time. Don’t care who starts.
I honestly don't agree with this. WHO starts matters because HOW you start the game matters.Personally, I care way more about who’s on the floor during crunch time. Don’t care who starts.
Jake's a pretty good rebounder as wellJake He just fits perfectly with that starting group. You CANNOT leave him and that opens up the entire floor. He’s also been solid defensively so he is not hurting you there.
Yep. He makes the right play. VERY high basketball I. Q.Jake's a pretty good rebounder as well
That's irrelevant. It's sunk cost. Petrovic is one of our highest-paid players - would you prefer we take Keaton off the court to give him more playing time?I don't think we're paying Andrej what we're paying for him to come off the bench.
How do you know what he is getting paid? How do you know how it compares to the rest of the lineup? Very curious if you could break down the list in greater detail. That's irrelevant. It's sunk cost. Petrovic is one of our highest-paid players - would you prefer we take Keaton off the court to give him more playing time?
This. Andrej is a ++ option any minutes he gets. But as a sixth man, that's just unfair.i think sleepers actually makes a good point is about how effective Andrej is off the bench to balance out Wagler so that they're not competing for the ball when they're on the floor together.
In this day and age I don’t think that matters when the minutes are the same either way.I don't think we're paying Andrej what we're paying for him to come off the bench.

Hoping for a FRANCON5 level outburst from Mick after this game
