Got to shoot better. My question is it looks like teams can play physical with us on the perimeter. Do we not sell the contact well enough to get calls. It looks like in games we struggle with is when we can’t operate smoothly
No doubt. Especially with competing with NIL.The types of players you envision are extremely coveted. Dusty did that this year so mad props to him but that’s why Michigan is special this year. It’s so much easier said than done to put together a roster that’s elite offensively, athletic & physical.
We are better than that.
I mean.... it's true though no?Can we please put the "best Kenpom offense" talk to rest? Can we please stop trying to clown on posters who express concerns about this team after the close losses?
Totally outclassed and out toughed on our home floor. The Krush did their part. The team and staff did not do theirs.
Better hope we get a favorable tournament draw and a couple upsets of higher seeded teams. Even with that, we may not be a second weekend team. Disappointment once again.
Is there anyone on this team who isn’t soft?No point in playing him …
Give all his minutes to Jake and Ben …
The problem is we didn't come out flat. We were right on schedule, up 5 after Wagler hit the three and one. The well went dry after that. Our #1 weapon is the three. We were 9 of 29. They crash the glass and gave big, physical, athletic men at every position. Keaton and Mirkovic are still kids. They got physically worn down. Not sure what level of athlete that you are/were, but whether it be basketball or football, when you get leaned on and physically pounded, your body is just done. It happens all the time. Our start was great because we were hitting shots. When that dried up....game over.BS. You think our best effort gets us blown out at home? Absurd. We might still lose, but “seeing this coming” would have very little to do with Michigan and more to do with predicting us to come out flat in one of our biggest home games in 20 years.
Still think Morez is a traitor and a sellout but he brought it tonight and was cold blooded. He did not let the crowd impact his gameplay. He's a good player and our fanbase is not happy that he sold his soul for the almighty dollar but that's college athletics for you.
Agreed.I still really think this year's group is much better than last year's.
But, we do need some athleticism on the wing this offseason.
*Regressing2-4 in the last 6. Digressing at the wrong time of the year. Time to temper expectations for the tourney.
Which is pathetic considering what we paid for himNo point in playing him …

Microcosm of the game when we threw an inbound to Mirk who had a guard on him, backed him down and threw up an akward miss from the right side of the basket, Tomi didn’t even know where the ball was until Michigan had the rebound. You prioritized Ben Humrichous in 2024 (![]()

) and Tomislav Ivisic (
) in 2025 over Morez Johnson
Means absolutely zero against good, tough, defensive teams. We looked like a JV team on that end tonight. And like a Jr high team on defense.I mean.... it's true though no?
So you’re not interested in Illinois competing for championships then. Got it.You bring them back IMO.
The brothers are good college players. The Michigan front court are all NBA players and future 1st rounders in my opinion.
The bigger question is Andrej....and maybe not even a question. I think you look to upgrade on him.
