Man is 27 terrible. Barely played all year but needs to come in due to foul trouble.
The play at the end where White scored off the tip out from out of bounds was one of the worst no calls I've ever seen.Such bad officiating in the Kansas game. StJ deserved to win.
I agree to an extent, but you should know whether you can rely on your guys to execute this strategy or not right? If they can't, you hold for the last shot on the previous possession and don't put them in that position. He obviously didn't want them to. You could see him explaining it to them repeatedly on the sideline. Thats not on him. He coached it correctly, his players didnt execute.
Yeah its amazing how some fans think that players always do exactly what they coach wants them to do lol. With some of these player's egos, you can imagine how annoyed some coaches have to be with their players ignoring them at times. He obviously didn't want them to. You could see him explaining it to them repeatedly on the sideline. Thats not on him. He coached it correctly, his players didnt execute.
Gave FL 2 points with the lane infraction on the free throw.Man is 27 terrible. Barely played all year but needs to come in due to foul trouble.
Also had an awful turnover not paying attention (lucky Lee missed the layup).Gave FL 2 points with the lane infraction on the free throw.
Iowa starting to lose composure.
As a Husker fan who hates Iowa more than probably anyone on here...I see it the exact opposite...after the 2nd angle anyway.Condon from Florida pulls at the ball. while the ball is in play The Iowa guy takes a clear swing at Condon. The refs' decision? Double tech. Wow. Golden's rage is absolutely justifiable. The refs had a chance to discuss that one as a unit, and that's what you came up with? No penalty for the Iowa chud who took that swing. But a penalty to the Florida guy for a perfectly legal basketball play. Ridiculous.
Thats definitely true. But dang, I feel like Bill Self could expect you and I to execute that, and I'm not speaking for you, but I cut cut in junior high lol.I agree to an extent, but you should know whether you can rely on your guys to execute this strategy or not right? If they can't, you hold for the last shot on the previous possession and don't put them in that position.
That'll happen when Florida miss about a dozen layups.Iowa 1/11 from 3 at halftime and winning is wild

I'm indifferent about the ultimate call, but I am confused by everyone seeming to agree that "he was punching the ball" is an acceptable answer. Since when is punching the basketball is a thing, especially that long after the whistle? As a Husker fan who hates Iowa more than probably anyone on here...I see it the exact opposite...after the 2nd angle anyway.
Condon AFTER THE WHISTLE pulled the Iowa player to the floor and slammed him. Then on the 2nd angle you could CLEARLY see the Iowa player comes nowhere near attempting contact with Condon, but instead wraps his free hand (the supposed swing) around the basketball and tries to pry it free.
Either only on Florida or both was the only correct call (or no call I suppose).
