Generally speaking, if a team is awarded the ball in its own front court, the clock is reset to 20, not 30

I think that’s a bad rule. If you force a turnover in the backcourt, you should be rewarded with a full 30 second shot clock regardless of whether it’s live ball or a violation.

I don't think that's true, as the SEC had 8 first round and 7 second round wins last year (they had 7 sweet 16 teams).

I think it’s most B1G teams in the S16 for the B1G, not any conference.

He played 40 minutes in the last game against Clenson. I think he's just gassed at this point. Incredible player but also human.

Since Jan 14, Iowa has played 18 games. He played 45min in one, 40 in 11, 39 in four, and 38 in two. So I'm not actually sure if he is human

Texas Tech without Toppin was always going to hit a wall at some point. Just didn't think it'd be quite this early against an Alabama team also missing one of their top two players.

UCLA is a blue blood and Mick Cronin isn't blue blood material. He's embarrassed their program with his antics, fire him and hire somebody that can elevate them.

Well, we always knew that the winner of this "most annoying coaches in NCAA" semifinal was going to advance to face Izzo in the championship, so it looks like we'll get a Hurley-Izzo game next.

Props to him. That is freaking insane fitness to do that in the B1G. The last I remember players doing that sort of thing were Anderson Hunt and Greg Anthony on that championship UNLV team back in 89-90. Both of them would play 40 minutes every night without a break, which I thought was pretty amazing at the time. But Hunt and Anthony got the benefit of playing in a really crappy conference where they were rarely challenged.

Pretty sure this UCONN squad would lose at least 6 conference games in the B1G. This is a team that lost to bad Creighton and Marquette teams.

Just saw the replay of the Iowa winning shot again. Even if he missed it, Iowa had the advantage and was in place for an offensive rebound and enough time to get another shot up for a tie. Really bad defense by Florida. Clutch by Iowa.

Yep...once Stirtz got the advantage on his man it was over. Defender had to cut him off leaving corner wide open.

Wow. We're just a one basket underdog? If I were a betting man, I'd throw a whole bunch of money on Houston at that line. Houston is an absolutely nightmarish matchup for us with their athleticism and defense.
