Moment too big for Jackson today, just playing careless basketball. She's gotta play better if we want to have a chance in this game.

Yup. That’s what I meant by terrible shooting.

Not setting up good shots and just missing them, but just bad shot selection followed by bad shot execution.

There was one five-footer early on that was offline and barely caught rim.

A team of very young women athletes playing the number two seed in a hostile environment where Vandy hasn’t lost a game all season have a terrible shooting night, but they have nothing to hang their heads about. They put up a good fight. Illini Nation is proud of these young ladies.

All you need to know:
21/71 (29.7%) shooting
3/23 (13.0%) from three

As usual we never quit, but there’s just no way to survive a shooting night like that.

The needle is still pointing up for this program though. Retain the starters + Webber, add the 3 injured players plus a legit 5 in the portal and we can be next year’s Vandy.

Happy with the direction, easily could have back slid after the experienced team that graduated after last season. We have to get some better injury luck though, depth is not a luxury Coach Green has had by the close of any year.

We have a couple...They will be adequate the 2 redshirting freshmen Manuella and Finney ..Of course we need to hit a home run on the last scholarship available . Whether it's with an offensive minded center,or a proven sharpshooter..I want to keep all of the players on the roster ,and just have improvement on Vasconcelos.....and recognition of Naomi strengths....and please for the love of God could we please have just ONE year without a devastating injury or plural for that matter? This team will be a juggernaut with just a healthy Dolan,Alves, and Finney joining... My most hopeful occurrence would be Divine Bourrage transferring to her other favorite school (which was the Illinois not Iowa)... But personally whoever comes in, will only be just more syrup and butter on an already loaded Pancake stack...
Can’t wait, and absolutely on Benson

The women’s side gets so lopsided. Major differences in talent from the top 8-9 teams then on down.
Another year or two and no idea how much money. I wonder how far behind we are on dollars and resources to get to the next level. We have the right coach thats the most important. She can bring in the talent
