Not the same team at all. We wont just chuck 3s regardless if they are falling or not (thank God!). Our defense is much better and we are playing with a toughness we lacked just a few months ago. I love how we are playing now and welcome this rematch! Hopefully we get a rematch with scUM too!

I predicted UCONN and it took a miraculous comeback and logo 3 to make it happen:). Glad not to play Duke, because we will be playing against Duke and the Refs. Think against UCONN we hopefully won't get Izzoed or blueblooded. Which calls for our star player to sit for 90-95% of the game and one of our bigs to fouled out.

It's going to be the last chance to see the illini's FIRST NCAA championship in men's basketball! That's pretty once in a lifetime.

Next year you can witness our first repeat championship!

Yeah the more I watched Duke, the more beatable they looked.

Their entire offense was simply Boozer bullying his way to the basket. I think Mirk has the frame and toughness where he could have held up(though of course you worry about Duke getting a friendly whistle), but I also think you could have actually played both the twins together and that Zvonimir's length would have given him fits(Boozer isn't going to blow by anyone and if you don't bite on the pump fakes he doesn't create any separation).

Not sure I get this take, like always, they have boatloads of 5 stars so it's not just one guy, at least on paper they're tough and a #1 seed for a reason, but their coach could be better LOL

It's not a certainty that we win this game at all. Far from it. But let's say that we do. Let's say that we pull it off and beat UConn.

Would you rather face Michigan or Arizona for the title?

Personally, I'd take Arizona in a heartbeat. Michigan is the only team all year that made us look like we didn't even belong. Straight-up domination. Have to admit that that game made me terrified of having to face them, again. I know Arizona would hardly be any easier, but I'd take the unknown over what we already saw.
