It's been really top heavy the last several years and pretty down the last few tbh.
UConn is the best program in the country at the moment and then you have the group of St Johns, Creighton, and Marquette that have been good recently(Creighton and Marquette not so much last year).
After that the rest of the conference is pretty bleak. The Big10, Big12, and SEC are way ahead. Then the ACC looks like it might jump them and be the 4th best conference since they have been similarly too heavy with Duke but I think they have more programs with positive momentum while the the Big East seems to be declining outside of UConn and St Johns.
In general smaller guards tend to not produce super early when reclassing. Boswell in particular I think would have had a better college career had he not reclassed.
Fears is the exception and he went to a great situation where he got to be the guy right off the bat under Moser. Though maybe we will see more of it with the 5 in 5 passing.
I had to look up Pettigrew because he does not play like he's 6'3..

The difference between Brady and Boswell is Brady will be 18 his freshman year if he reclasses, a year older than Kylan was his freshman year.

Brady is like Will Riley in that he will be reclassing into his normal age based class. Boswell was a year young.

Texas will be a dark horse title contender going into the season.
IDK if dark horse is accurate. I’d consider them with F4 potential.
They’re were already ranked between 7-10 before getting c/o 27 No. 1 player Marcus Spears Jr. to reclassify and commit for next season.
They have height and a base play with two 7-footers and a couple 6-10 guys to go with talented CG transfers and a couple of Mc Donald All-Americans.
Jaxson Davis is going to be a menace at MSU..
Iowa's made him a priority.

Kitt has a lot of similarities to Morez when he committed to us. Not super highly ranked but will be a late riser. Plays with other guys who are ranked high and still shining. Built like a unit and already has a BIG body with a year to play.
Morez was top 35 from the moment the rankings came out.
He was composite low 50s and rated 61st at one point his Jr year.
Kitt isn't a great comparison but Morez wasn't 35ish start to finish.

I think your thinking of morez old teammate James brown was rated really highly his freshman and sophomore years ahead of morez before morez emerged in the rankings
From the videos I've seen, he doesn't look to be close to the run/jump athlete that Morez was. But I hope I'm wrong and I've just missed the videos showing him jumping out of the gym.
Kitt is nowhere near Morez in terms of being the physical menace and athlete. Morez is a freak, and his motor was unmatched.
Kipper Nicholas would be my comparison if we’re going off former Illini.
