USC should be kicked out of the B1G as of today.
Notre Dame's home-and-home with Indiana is off, per a source.
USC went in scheduling resume-padding wins, to now being the resume-padding win by joining the B1G. You could say we Trojan Horsed them big time.Makes me wonder when it was originally scheduled - if it was a year or two ago, they couldn't have known what they were getting into. That's said, IU could've been a premier opponent for a team that was left out last year due to a soft schedule.
I highly doubt that it was IU who asked to get out of this H & H seriesMakes me wonder when it was originally scheduled - if it was a year or two ago, they couldn't have known what they were getting into. Yeah, Indiana wants the easy winI highly doubt that it was IU who asked to get out of this H & H series
ND seeing those IU games looming...
ND has way more to lose playing IU than the other way aroundYeah, Indiana wants the easy win
add : ND wants those California, Texas & east coast away games .ND has way more to lose playing IU than the other way around
I highly doubt that it was IU who asked to get out of this H & H series
I have since seen that also, but who really knows the truth in these situations.I assume it was ND, but the news story said IU cancelled.
Sorry if someone posted this over the weekend. Haven't checked in here much in a while. I saw this in The Wall Street Journal (Friday July 31 edition). No surprise to anyone who has followed the scandals at Michigan that they're trying to keep a lid on the worst of it. Apologies if this is paywalled.
Michigan Left Out Key Details on Probe Into Its Athletic Department
Details unearthed in a law-firm investigation into a fired coach and the school’s athletic culture weren’t shared with the public
Best response for "championship or bust" assertations (imo)
Expect Michigan or Wisconsin to run this. This OU play against Auburn last year is insane. The guy who’s walking off catches the touchdown pass. SEC should not have gotten 5 teams.
