Sorry if someone posted this over the weekend. Haven't checked in here much in a while. I saw this in The Wall Street Journal (Friday July 31 edition). No surprise to anyone who has followed the scandals at Michigan that they're trying to keep a lid on the worst of it. Apologies if this is paywalled.

Michigan Left Out Key Details on Probe Into Its Athletic Department
Details unearthed in a law-firm investigation into a fired coach and the school’s athletic culture weren’t shared with the public

Notre Dame's home-and-home with Indiana is off, per a source.

Makes me wonder when it was originally scheduled - if it was a year or two ago, they couldn't have known what they were getting into. That's said, IU could've been a premier opponent for a team that was left out last year due to a soft schedule.

USC went in scheduling resume-padding wins, to now being the resume-padding win by joining the B1G. You could say we Trojan Horsed them big time.

For real though, love this storyline of the “Almighty USC” getting pants’d by the big bad scary Illinois and Indiana programs.

Pride goes before a fall. Run and hide behind a non-conference opponent.

I highly doubt that it was IU who asked to get out of this H & H series

I assume it was ND, but the news story said IU cancelled.
I have since seen that also, but who really knows the truth in these situations.
Cignetti is pretty clear in his preference to play non P4 opponents in the non con - so it was likely IU initiating this or perhaps mutual
