Seattle lost so many players from their championship team last year.
Spoon’s running mate and Riq Woolen replacement:

Seahawks will remain legit:

— brought back 96% of their sack production
— brought back entire Offensive Line (re-signed both tackles in Cross and Lucas)
— returned Witherspoon (CB); great safety tandem in Love and Emmanwori
— lost Woolen, but signed Diggs
— returned Kupp and JSN
— returned their quarterback

Only gripe is probably their RB room, where they lost Kenneth Walker.

I wouldn’t take their roster over Denver’s, but it’s still a darn good one.

This dude going from a non rated 0 star recruit to highest paid CB in the history of the NFL in only a few years is the stuff dreams are made of.

Whichever guy found him from the Lovie staff should def put that on his resume. He only played 2 years of HS football. Imagine not playing football till your Junior year of high school. Then you wind up starting as a true freshman at a Big 10 school. Then just keep getting better and better till you are the best in the NFL.

Lovie did a lot of things wrong. A lot. But he, or at least his staff, did excel at finding below the radar talent. Unfortunately, it was impossible to hit on those with enough frequency to make up for the overall recruiting shortfall, and all the other things that make a successful college football coach were also lacking.

2nd thing

“Pat Bryant is ready to emerge

Probably the biggest winner of training camp has to be second-year wide receiver Pat Bryant. He entered camp in a battle for the WR3 spot with Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin and leaves camp as the clear winner.

He was the storyline for just about every practice and became Nix’s most trusted target throughout the two weeks of camp. Veteran Courtland Sutton did not practice every day due to some load management stuff, and Jaylen Waddle and Marvin Mims missed a week plus of practices due to some minor injuries. So, Bryant was constantly out there, performed well, and simply ran away with the job.

Their scouting dept definitely knew what NFL traits looked like in the secondary.

2017:
Tony Adams and Nate Hobbs

2018:
Sydney Brown, Quan Martin, Kerby Joseph

2019:
Devon Witherspoon

Hopefully they got all these guys shown in the football building bc DB should be the easiest sell they have
