Will be interesting to see where the Batavia kid ends up in 4 years. The late bloomers who get a chance to play early in college usually end up in a better situation.19 or not, he did not look like a big ten level quarterback on Friday. Batavia’s quarterback looked like the better player
Yeah. Would not surprise me in 3 years if he is in a P4 conferenceWill be interesting to see where the Batavia kid ends up in 4 years. The late bloomers who get a chance to play early in college usually end up in a better situation.

Still a lot of time until signing day. Seems like there always is a Chicago area qb that upgrades during the his senior year.I was surprised by his lack of p4 interest. I was hoping we would offer when we lost Lopati

Holy cow, really looks like Konkey can fly! He ran past the other team like they weren't even there..

For perspective, he's consistently run faster than The Freeze's best college time.kid posted a 10.25 100m...yeah, he flies
Forgive me if this was already asked:
re: Dae’Quan Wright - Do any insiders have any knowledge about how excited JC Anderson’s family is to know that their boy is going to get passed up on the depth chart by an NFL camp body?
Basketball is always going to be #1 here and until that changes with the big donors, we're not getting these 5 star kidsIt’s sad that these 5 star studs never give us a chance

I’m 35, some of you on this board have followed this much longer than me.Why is it always one or the other? Illinois thinks of itself as a big time school. Just about every other big time school has big donors giving to all three (Or at least 2) major sports. It's something I have never understood.
We apologize for not asking earlier, geneva. Would you be willing to give some of your 20+M to Illini athletics?I’m 35, some of you on this board have followed this much longer than me.
I believe there is a large portion of the fan base that has never been asked to donate.
And a good chunk of what I would consider high net worth people over 20M+ that have never been asked to donate.
I could be wrong.
But I think there’s a disconnect with people that end up all over the country making big time dollars that don’t care about illini sports.
