Great start for the defending champs and less so for City in the post-Pep era as Arsenal wins the Community Shield 3:0.
I only was able to catch the 2nd half but Arsenal scored within 23 seconds of the start of the match so that should tell you how things started off for City. The announcers seemed to think that Arsenal appeared more ready and fit for the season than City did.
If this keeps up for City though, I'd be surprised if Maresca lasts much past Boxing Day.

Did you even watch the match? Spurs controlled much of it. There was a clear penalty that wasn't called at 0-0. Newcastle caught them on a long pass that was just onside and a 2nd ball from a set piece. Give them time for the new players to get bedded in and I don't see why they don't finish top half, and potentially challenge for European places.

It's because we don't have European matches this season and they know they won't get minutes. Sarr is already off to Juventus. Spurs fans are fine with the other 2 going as well.
