Is UAB any good? The line is -27 I assume not. Yet Rutgers was -29 tonight and they are down 24-7 at half. Take nothing for granted but I am excited to see the new defense

I covered them in my post. I'm optimistic compared to others. There's talent. I'm banking on the coaching as well but I expect a star turn for Barna and for Farrell to take an impact turn if not star. Good combination of talent and experience at NG. Holmes a talented pass rusher. I think they'll do well.

They don't return a lot but they beat a ranked Memphis team last year in Mortenson's fiest game as HC. Bret won't sleep on UAB.

Excited to see what the new defense is like ...probably a better look will be next week but let's ace this week...I also think Valentine is going to rip a big one today...
