man, Barnett was impressive.
A game that was never played as poorly as you would have thought reading the forums, was never in danger of being lost, but was infuriating none-the-less.
I think he conquers both if he comes back next year.

Gotta give credit to the defense. They really adjusted and made massive improvements after that disaster of a game against Duke.
Yeah, I know SIU is an FCS team, but they're one of the best FCS teams in the nation. They made the playoffs last year. This was still a big win.
While it is a shame that we aren't heading into Columbus at 3-0, 2-1 is still much, much better than 1-2 or 0-3.

Truthfully, this score should be 41-13 because SIU had 3 points they chose not to take, and threw a pick 6 on the 4th down play.
It's what I hope we don't do against Ohio State next week. Never throw away the chance to get points (because there won't be many).

Well, you need to take into account the salary aspect here. The guys in front of him are getting paid much bigger bucks, so the staff will look to give them maximum opportunity.
It's just like pro sports.

They lost to West Floridan. Stop. Enjoy the win, but quit puffing it up. Look at scores around the country where these creampuffs are involved. Iowa is beating Northern Iowa, at half, 42-0. Oregon beat some FCS school 84-0. This is what is supposed that happen.

Great observation. He's locked in on Dixon every play. SIU isn't capable of taking it away. Duke, in the second half, was. Every team we play from here on our will be able to. It's easy enough to just shade a safety over. Now, if it's a matter of none of our other receivers being able to create separation......that's a whole different problem.
Production over salaries at this point. Barnett will reap the rewards next season. Gotta play him to keep him here because I'm pretty sure other programs will see the same things we just did.
