Homecoming 2019
- Chicago
What's this I keep hearing online about Mirk, a setback or something?
He learned a whole bunch playing against Kofi in practice.Jakstys gave very good minutes as well and played more than he ever has. Good for him.
Not sure the hoards calling for Brad to recruit a skilled and experienced big to come off the bench know this...but doing better than JJ was not going to happen...ever.Jakstys gave very good minutes as well and played more than he ever has. Good for him.
Big Z hurt something. Big T hurt his knee. Andrej smacked his head on the court. Mirk was in an air boot.Who got hurt and what got hurt?
Same.3) I like Ethan Brown. Loved how he played against Cincy. But to me, even if he defends a little more than Vaaks, the gap offensively seems notable
If they can burn the memory of playing defense like the first half...they can wear the bloody jerseys forever.BURN THOSE GODAWFUL JERSEYS.
radio guys said Z landed on his tail bone, hopefully nothing broke but even a bad bruise in that area is toughBig Z hurt something. Big T hurt his knee. Andrej smacked his head on the court. Mirk was in an air boot.
A positive I could see coming out of this is a kick in the !!! in practice to correct a lot of mistakes we made tonight.
Agree, and Vaaks has to rebound. One area he absolutely can & must improve.Same.
And I don't think he defended any better than Vaaks tonight. Frankly he was getting blown by over and over and big reason why Brad pulled him in 1st half and iced him IMO. Vaaks size and ability to get to the hoop (big IF....he doesn't settle for contested jumpers) is just so noticeable out there. Vaaks will never be good defensively....but he's got the size and strength that Brown simply doesn't have right now.
