If Abraham can help reel in even a few of the IMG kids, he would be a home run hire IMO. Get that IMG > ILL pipeline flowing. Ideally land 1 of Verdis Brown or Houston Griffith in year 1. Landing both of them or 1 of them and a few "lesser" IMG players gives the 2018 class potential to be elite
Can't really have too many guys in the recruiting hotbed that Florida is. If Abraham can recruit close to the level of Ward, maybe that gives Ward a chance to focus more on other areas (not that he hasn't done well in those areas either!)
Assume we will know tomorrow or tuesday the identity of the new defensive coach. Personally hoping for the IMG guy. Seems like he has potential to be a great recruiter
As much as I'd like to say that it is, I don't think the Indiana game is one that we can say we "should" win. They return a ton of talent on defense and a decent offense. A successful season would mean beating them, but that one will be tough. They should return to Purdue-level in the next...

Even if we go on a little bit of a run here, I just don't think this team passes the eye test. Blowout losses to WVU, Maryland, Purdue, Indiana won't look good to the committee, albeit that these are all superior teams. Tournament teams don't get routinely embarrassed even if the competition is...

I think this year was a bit unique in how there is only one undefeated team. In years with more undefeateds or stronger conference champions, those losses would have mattered more.
An 8 team playoff would be the most fair IMO. More clear criteria for making the playoff - win your conference. Then the 3 at large spots would be available for the Ohio States, Michigans of this year, or Baylor/TCUs of 2014. Plus 1 spot for the highest ranked G5 champion.
The only...
