You can make any challenge look bad with VAR. They bodied Adam's away from the ball with zero consequence, VAR didn't review it.
Also how is this is a comparison? The Bosnian player played the remaining 40+ minutes without so much as a limp. No one's Achilles was ruptured.
The rules never change but are completely subjective and unevenly applied. It's OK for soccer to be a bit physical. It's possible to have more tiers of penalty than just yellow or backbreakimg red card.
Orange - miss the rest of the game for dangerous play
Red card - suspension with intent...
For some it might help to think about it this way... Small 2027 class means they are really liking what we picked up in 2026. Means a lot of time(and money) will be spent retaining what we've picked up in 2025 and 2026.
Wouldn't be concerned unless the results arent there in this season and...
I've said it before that I would hope Illinois would stand behind one of their players.
I just don't know where this goes without guide rails. Every new eligbility incident seems wilder than the last.
You forgot the part where he appeals to your humanity by mentioning that he has two sons and one of them who graduated from Texas Tech and played football for Texas Tech.
I agree with this. His size might limit him a little but has all the tools to be a college QB. Can run as needed. Really, really liked some of his intermediate throws. Able to get the tip of the football down without losing too much velocity.
I honestly don't mind Texas Tech standing behind their athlete. I would want Illinois to do the same.
The problem for me is just the wild inconsistencies. Hunter Dekkers never played another down of FBS football(ironically now plays for the Houston Gamblers of the UFL). Others never got to...
Wild that we lost a year of Luke Ford(did his grandpa even get to see him play) and Sorsby can gamble on a game he played in and still be eligible.
NCAA out there like: Miss me yet?
