The deal with the Mountain West is for football only. Washington State and Oregon State will compete in the West Coast Conference at least for two years in most other sports, including basketball, and be eligible for championships.

UCLA plays at Nebraska on November 2nd this fall. That's about the only potential cold weather exposure LA schools have in 2024.

Delaware won its opening round FCS playoff game last Saturday over Lafayette, and plays at #2 seed Montana this weekend. Perhaps they have delusions of grandeur.
