Showing how old I am, I remember him as a player in high school and at Purdue. It was always pronounced Con-zo. So that's how I've always known it.
The Q-wan-zo was throwing me off.
I hope that's right, but I'm concerned. We haven't done well in Chicago with the last several coaches we've had and we have done pretty well in St. Louis area as of late. If we start losing out in St. Louis, I hope we finally start getting some consistency in Chicago...we'll see.
I don't follow women's basketball so I'm just asking...what about J.D. Gravina at Western Illinois? He has had success there and made the tournament (I think) this year.
Again, I have no idea if he would be considered qualified or not...I'm out of the loop with women's basketball. Gravina's...
LOL...the NCAA would enforce things on him here they let go in Kentucky. He'd be moving from the privileged part of town to the bad part of town...Cops (NCAA) are different in the bad part of town. ;)
To Anderson's defense, he took over a program on probation and is still on probation. He basically cleaned house and started over from scratch. The next coach will reap the benefits of what he had to do.
I'm so tired of it all. For me the season is over.
I'm tired of watching this team not only lose, but not even compete.
I'm tired of coming on this board and reading all the negativity (Including myself, I've been negative also).
I'm tired of literally having a headache after each game.
I'm...
The team does deserve it. It's all on Groce. I made the mistake on here a while back of trying to put part of the blame on the players. I was told they deserve no blame and it's 100 percent on Groce. So fire Groce and let them play in the NIT I guess.
