His trip was a fundraiser/dinner meeting with Alums. They have this every year down there. Other members of the UI administration go as well.

The reason this has taken this long is we are waiting for George to accept or turn down our offer. Which I believe he turned it down Friday. That still leaves Tiley in play because he would accept in a heartbeat if offered. The good news is Whitman is right there as well.

This search committee will carry very little, if any, weight on who our next AD will be!
