Every has loved him and he's worked hard for 5 years and he still managed to miss 4 straight NCAA tournaments, so why those things mean he can turn it around now is just baffling. I love Groce, but we have to let him go. One great recruiting class is not worth a coach who cannot coach.
Saying "get back involved with" makes me think someone we were previously involved with but are not anymore, which immediately made me think of Scruggs. But I assume that's not the case seeing as how we have Frazier on board.
Why would they be hiding under a rock? Let's be honest, Groce still needs to prove it on the court and make the tournament. That really shouldn't be controversial, even with this excellent recruiting class.
I swear, whenever this argument seems like it should swing in our favor and Illinois would offer more playing time at the right position, the recruit still goes to the school that's crowded. Now when we're the crowded school, the recruit is actually going to go to the lesser school with more...
