For those of you that think Irvin is coming to Champaign from Macomb to take Alexander's spot......that is not happening and really wasn't even considered.

Tough match-up in Iowa City. It always seems Iowa shoots the heck out of the ball against the Illini. Garza-Kofi match-up will be fun to watch - hope Kofi can stay out of foul trouble. Garza is a very smart player. He has only been in foul trouble two times - one of those vs Maryland.

Citadel played at SEMO last night. Illini should roll in this one. Citadel's offensive philosophies will not help them tonight

First game. Low Expectations for your opponent. Players have read too many articles/tweets by Andy Katz and other so-called experts. Great wake-up call for the players. You will see a much different team in the desert this weekend. My only comment - Feliz is a BULLDOG. Love watching him play!

If Illinois doesn't start guarding the ball better - Gonzaga will score 110 while shooting 60+% from the field. Illinois is fun to watch, but it will be a long year if they don't clean up their individual and team defensive rotations.
