I will be attending the Iowa at Nebraska game next month strictly to boo the Sqwaukeyes.Somewhat OT RE: cheering for a conference title, I remember reading an article that when OSU played at Northwestern in 2006, while a game ahead of Illinois in the standings, there was a sizable contingent of orange at Welsh-Ryan Arena cheering for Northwestern.We are well on our way, but I would love to get that reputation back as the best fans in the Big Ten, completely taking over visiting arenas. I was at the Iowa game in 2005 in Iowa City, where 5,000 Illini fans and the Orange Krush embarrassed the Hawkeyes, and it was a thing of beauty. I would love to see a huge contingent of Illini fans in Bloomington on Saturday 2/5!

Why? NW is hardly a rival. I don’t mind rooting for any B10 team outside of Michigan and Iowa these days. Wisconsin and Indiana depending on the decade are intolerable but recently I don’t mind them.

I have no trouble rooting for any team that helps the Illini and their standing.
Sparty board was having quite a time last night chortling about how bad we looked in our 15-point win. That seems to have subsided.

To be fair, I believe 6 of those losses occurred when two ranked teams played each other, so it's not quite as egregious as it looks.
