You think Izzo apologized to the refs after that game for the missed free throw?
It really made them look bad, and probably cost them some money.

They beat Kansas at home last week.Plus didn’t they win at home vs Kansas. Win against Baylor, then lose at Kstate? Talk about a let down game.
Ah gotcha. Still they were dueThey beat Kansas at home last week.
This week they:
W @ Baylor
W vs. OKST
L @ KState
Let down indeed. But those three games happened in 6 days. I bet they were tired.
Since the end of last season and no one will ever convince me otherwise...Alone in first place this late into the season for the first time since ... ???? 2006?? Possibly even 2005?!
If refs called that foul on every play, Kofi would shoot 50 free throws a game.Really? I thought that one was OK. The NW defender pretty clearly held down the MSU big's arm on the inbounds. But, agree that it shouldn't have been there in the first place, very quick whistle on the (maybe not even a) travel and (definitely not a) jump ball.
I will be attending the Iowa at Nebraska game next month strictly to boo the Sqwaukeyes.Somewhat OT RE: cheering for a conference title, I remember reading an article that when OSU played at Northwestern in 2006, while a game ahead of Illinois in the standings, there was a sizable contingent of orange at Welsh-Ryan Arena cheering for Northwestern. We are well on our way, but I would love to get that reputation back as the best fans in the Big Ten, completely taking over visiting arenas. I was at the Iowa game in 2005 in Iowa City, where 5,000 Illini fans and the Orange Krush embarrassed the Hawkeyes, and it was a thing of beauty. I would love to see a huge contingent of Illini fans in Bloomington on Saturday 2/5!
Why? NW is hardly a rival. I don’t mind rooting for any B10 team outside of Michigan and Iowa these days. Wisconsin and Indiana depending on the decade are intolerable but recently I don’t mind them.Feels gross rooting for NU but we could really use an MSU loss.
on any given day that ends in a “y”No such thing as a gimmie in Conference games.
Crazy box score.MSU turnovers and NW offensive rebounds led to NW taking 15 more shots . . . Won by 2.
Add #21 Texas losing to #15 ISU (who lost to Kansas earlier this week). Teams in the high teens that lost this week: #16 OSU, #17 Xavier. It's gonna be interesting to see where we end up next week. I'm guessing 20.HAVE to figure we at least pass the following teams in the polls:
#20 Seton Hall (AND it makes our Marquette loss look less bad!)
#22 Tennessee (currently losing by 22 at Kentucky) in the polls
#23 Providence (hasn't played all week, while we won twice)
#24 Alabama (definitely if they lose again to MSST, where they are underdogs)
None of this is to even mention that we are now alone in first place with #7 Purdue (who will likely pass #5 USC and maybe #3 UCLA) coming to town! Hope the SFC is as loud as it's ever been.

Texas is one of the most over rated teams in the country, year in and year out. How they are ranked is amazing.#21 texas picking up a loss at #15 iowa st. Should be enough for us to pass them
Ghost beat me to it
Wish grantedYeah, would love to see Marquette, Kansas St., and Northwestern all win here...
Oh and obviously #19 TTU lost to KSU and #12 LSU lost to Arkansas. So thus far this week the following ranked teams lost:Add #21 Texas losing to #15 ISU (who lost to Kansas earlier this week). I'd rather win by 15 over a decent team despite playing poorly than lose to a bad team.Sparty board was having quite a time last night chortling about how bad we looked in our 15-point win. That seems to have subsided.
It's personal haha, I just want them to never win more so in football thoWhy? NW is hardly a rival. I don’t mind rooting for any B10 team outside of Michigan and Iowa these days. Wisconsin and Indiana depending on the decade are intolerable but recently I don’t mind them.
wow........12 of the top 24 lost......Boy howdy , them there AP voters are spot on , huh ?............Oh and obviously #19 TTU lost to KSU and #12 LSU lost to Arkansas. So thus far this week the following ranked teams lost:

To be fair, I believe 6 of those losses occurred when two ranked teams played each other, so it's not quite as egregious as it looks.wow........12 of the top 24 lost......Boy howdy , them there AP voters are spot on , huh ?............
