Should have a couple on his head thenit’s from a cupping treatment. It releases myofascial adhesions and enhances blood flow.
yep. 5 of their BIG wins are by 3 points or lessLately Purdue is not really playing well, but they are playing just well enough.
Yep. One of my buddies sweated like a hippopotamus out there. It's always those guys that volunteer to go skins. It kind of reminds me of the HS days when somebody would suggest shirts versus skins. After the first time, I said, "I don't care which team I'm on, I'm not playing shirts vs skins"
Yep, I would be delighted if we were 9 and 1 and in first place.Lately Purdue is not really playing well, but they are playing just well enough.
I’ve been impressed with Bufkin’s ball handling skills.
Edey’s tough. I wonder how we’ll guard him. If we try man to man with DD, Edey will score 100.
After watching a few PU games now I think running the whole game with many subsitutions. When PU has the ball in the halfcourt, Edey has to be double teamed and collapse to prevent layups. ANytime edey catches the ball within 10 feet with one-on-one, he will score. Force them to hit their jump shots.Watched the Purdue game last night. As tough as Edey is, I think Smith is the head of the snake.
I think we should throw Sencire on Smith full court and see if we can speed him up or at least tire him out. He’s so tough I don’t know that we can but Sencire did bother Tyger and Hepburn, both of whom are tough and I would take over Smith.
Edey seems to conserve energy running up and down the floor. If Dain Sprints back, he should either be able to get some easy buckets or make Edey work harder than he’s used to.
They’re really good and probably have too big a lead for anyone to catch them, but they are vulnerable and I expect they get clipped at least a couple more times in the regular season. Will be interesting to see how they do in the tourney. A pressing team with some size in the back court could give them trouble. Maryland almost got them with a press/zone combo.
Also watched and agree we need to guard Smith closely. Harris for a few minutes but then Shannon for the majority of minutes.Watched the Purdue game last night. As tough as Edey is, I think Smith is the head of the snake.

Oh, the Izzo defense. One guy gets kicked out of the game, but that will slow up his night
I think if they have it in their bag, depending on game flow, it could really help. Either way, we're going to have to pick a poison. I'm sure there's some nuances Underwood gets that I don't but it seems like a credible idea at least.Watched some of the Purdue game myself. Agree with running the court, and tiring them out. Coleman or Dain should be sprinting down the court when Edey is in the game. In half court offense, it would be like playing horse to have Coleman taking threes from 4 feet outside of the arc - Edey not going to want to be more than 15 feet or so from the rim. Coleman can shoot if he is not rushed. Also, going full court defense to limit the time they have to run their offense to get Edey the ball would help. Put Buck on their freshman PG and make him work. We will have Goode back by the time we play them, so we can go 10 deep and push them.
I know that there are those that have advocated adopting a zone for a change up and this might trigger them, but.... This might actually be a game worth playing a zone for more than just a changeup. Maryland stayed with Purdue and I think I recall that they played a zone at least for part of that game. A 2-3 with Dain flanked by Coleman and Mayer would make it tough to get Edey the ball.
