Rankings and projections are great but still a bit of a crap shoot how players contribute at the P5. Level. Maybe he will blossom later. A lot depends on how the coach/staff plan to utilize a player's talents and their value in the system. It has been pretty obvious that BU and staff work hard to max. the contributions of their bigs and develop and utilize their skills. Hurley may have a different set of values and experience. Somewhere along the line, I feel confident that Underwood had impressed upon him that every player has a significant value. When the time comes for that player to contribute, he needs to be able to do so. If he can't, that is one the coach. As I recall, when Goode committed, it was widely reported that BU told him to work on his perimeter shooting and be ready to drill his first shot...and every one subsequent to that. Pretty evident Goode listened.

My goodness! Did we really hold that Spartan team to 55 points?

They are bigger, stronger and more athletic than us, even with two of our better players who missed the MSU game.
(Well Kofi is the exception - sorry. I'm just not sure anymore who we can anticipate will show up.)

I'm amazed at how Coach U gets us to reach to the next level of performance to defeat teams of that caliber.

Now let's get healthy, and blow past the B1G into the NCAA Tourney.

Auburn up 13 on Oklahoma in the 2nd half.

I would love to play Auburn on the 2nd weekend of the tourney, with a full healthy roster.

Hoosiers up 17 points at Maryland with 10 minutes left. Looks like they have improved over the past couple of weeks.

On the road at Maryland...Hoosiers road blowout...they are trending up and Woodson is big coaching upgrade for them.

Maryland is 6-26 from 3 point land. But 8-26 from 2 point land! They can't hit anything today.

Ok...we'll agree to differ. They are 15-5...beat Purdue away, Ohio State and close at Wiscy in December.

BOTTON LINE...Dismiss or underrate Hoosiers, perhaps at your peril...
