BREAKING NEWS! I have gained access to U of M’s test results clearly showing “Negative” for COVID. I can’t share the other results for HIPAA reasons.

Given the CDC rules(ever changing) that only 5 days of quarantine are required.... I'd think they our game would be fine? Is that too optimistic? Unless they pull a stunt where they need two weeks of practice before they play....I'd think we'd be good to go?

Well, Illinois cancelled its FLAAM game on Wednesday morning and was ready to play the following Tuesday. Theoretically, there should be enough time, especially since Michigan played without a full roster at Rutgers and it’s Covid cases may be staggered. But this IS Michigan we’re talking about, so…

Thursday would be the soonest they could come back. If anyone had symptoms they would be out longer. We don’t have room in our schedule to squeeze them in we would have to re arrange and push other games. My guess is Mich vs Illinois will be a a no contest. Not sure if it will be ruled a forfeit.

Mich out for covid with Mich st, Purdue and Illinois coming up. What a coincidence, that stretch would more than likely leave them with a loosing record.

Calling all members of Team Rankings Matter™️! I think we’re ranked on Monday no matter what, but here are some current games of interest:

• #24 Seton Hall in a battle at home vs. UConn. Loss likely knocks SHU out, though I sort of fear UConn sneaking in.

• #16 Providence losing at home to St. John’s. Providence got smoked by Marquette earlier this week (also good for us!), so I think a second loss to an unranked team at home pushes them out. For reference, we went from #14 to unranked in a week where we lost to Cincinnati and beat KSU…

• #6 Kansas plays at #25 Texas Tech at 3:00 pm. Hate KU all you want, but a TTU loss helps us!

Plenty of time to reschedule. A no-contest or forfeit is way too soon to consider.

I'm watching nebby vs. punky mcbrewster and only 3 + minutes in the game our fav RU player is complaining and getting favorable calls............

But , I understand this based on his boyish ugly facial features.....

so ugly he has been told by the B1G he has to play with a towel over his head.....

He sure is ugly , isn't he ?................and I'm high and thinking it .................I really really do........................

Lol at them holding the ball to near the buzzer down 1 only to turn it over with 2 seconds left. I always cringe when coaches use that strategy, seems to backfire more often than not. You score as fast as you can when you’re down in the last minute.
Kind of like running it down and then getting a 5 second call?

We sure love throwing stones out of our glass house. The Michigan thing is a perfect example.

Michigan has ducked 3 top 10 matchups in the last 1-2 years. Even if every instance is “explainable,” the pattern is sketchy. Hardly the same as us missing one game (due to a dumb University policy…) against a team we were favored to beat and playing the game the second we were able to on one day’s practice…

Think they’d kick ‘Nova out if they lost to DePaul? Down at half and currently #19. As an MBA alum, I’m cheering for DePaul regardless.

P.S. I hope we get paired to play AT DePaul soon for the Gavitt Games. The new arena looks awesome, and I anticipate the crowd would be about 50% Illini fans, possibly more.
Kofi would have a field day against Villanova, they have little size up front.

I would have a hard time understanding nova with 5 losses staying in the top 25......Big East is not like the B1G or other P5 conferences .....JMHO
