I was just about to comment on the Indiana lead on Minnesota and note that Minnesota is starting to be shown the battering ram that is the B10 conference, and then they score 9 straight points and are almost tied. So what do I know? I still think the Gophers are not as good as the pub they were getting, but I have to hand it to them, they're showing up and fighting.

You'd think scUM would be able to play by the time our game starts. They had 3-4 guys out for the Rutgers game IIRC, so you'd think those guys are back by then and they are back over the threshold. Plus after the debacle last year, they can't be content missing 3 B1G games when no other teams have yet to miss one (outside of the teams playing UM). But, they are also a joke so you never know...

I’ve been pondering something recently.

Illinois has sort of set the precedent for a conference team coming back from a pause right?

There has to be justifiable reasons for teams that meet the 7 Player/1 Coach threshold to postpone a game without risking a forfeit.

By having our own pause at a very fortunate time, but then playing 2 games in three days almost immediately coming out of the pause, we’ve basically set the standard on acceptable time to get spun back up.

And it’s essentially none. We got everyone out of protocol, then traveled/practiced the day before our Minny game.

Other teams will be hard pressed to say that’s unsafe or it can’t be done when Illinois has already done it. Let’s see if Michigan tries to do again this year what they did last year.

I have a question regarding Duke and Coach K:If you never play any road games, can it still be called a “farewell tour”?

On a practical note, since they apparently won’t be traveling anywhere, do you think Coach K insists on the visiting team bringing him a gift in order to play?

Watched Champaign news last night. The weather guy stated there is a possibility of a winter event this Friday. Coward has already submitted this to the BIG office.
How about heavy thunder (from Kofi dunks), followed by high winds (Illini guards blowing by Mich defenders) followed by a good chance of raining 3's (from Illini perimeter players) for a forecast??
