11/14 Weekday Games

I'm in no position to disagree, but that's a pretty strong inference that Boeheim's predilections are similar to Jackson's, isn't it? I mean, I'm not going to argue - the rumors have been there for a long time and Boeheim himself has never publicly denied it, but to just put it out there for all to see is pretty bold. ;)

Good for Big Ten -- Northwestern beats a Big East team (I know, it's Georgetown, but better than losing). Great for Illini fans -- ESPN's highlight video for the game is the complete ineptness during one play in the first half.

OMG, that was crazy. I don't usually use these internet abbreviations but I literally said that out loud while watching so I had to include it here. Thanks for sharing.

Swear to god…I just thought it was funny juxtaposition of pictures. BUT after I thought about it…I see how you got there.
Which was undoubtedly the point of the meme in the first place. Bad on me I guess..

But while we’re talking about it…in regard to Jackson…yeah he def. was seemingly/at least outwardly… WAY WAY creepier. I don’t believe the two to be one in the same. (Although, the courts never found that Jackson did anything wrong. But they didn’t with OJ either…at least before he started stealing sports memorabilia.)

I actually didn’t know, there were ongoing rumors about Boeheim specifically being a creep. I thought it was more of a suspected, negligence, Paterno-type situation…involving Bernie Fine.

And then Boeheim said a bunch of tone deaf, defend my friend at all costs stuff in the media.

I know he's a "legend" for some reason, or another, but can't I just watch Kentucky/MSU and Duke/Kansas without hearing Dickie V slobbering all over some of these players and coaches?

Why can we not develop technology to mute, or change the voice of someone? It actually may not be bad if it was Denzell Washington, or James Earl Jones
I may be dumber than a rock, but I am pretty certain there is a mute button on my computer, tv, AND phone. Maybe you are listening on an old fashion radio, but otherwise if you are tuned in on a new technology no one knows about yet, I can't help you. My apologies since as much as i would like to help another Illini fan, I am just not capable.

Nothing better than watching a game listening to the sound of air!

“At the end of the day, you play for the tournament,” Boeheim said Friday at Syracuse’s media day. “You can say what you want about the Big Ten. They sucked in the tournament. To me, that’s what they did. All of their wins were in their league. If you can’t play in the [NCAA] tournament, then you’re not good.”

Kind of a ‘sucky’ loss for Jimbo & the ‘Cuse. Here’s hoping they leave Champaign in a couple of weeks defeated, demoralized, and disinclined to ever face a B1G team again…

and they fail to make any postseason tourney!
McNeese them. The ladies did McNeese State in 100-36. Guys, do the same to “’Cuse.”

It's early and we have not played that many crazy games yet, but the Big Ten has really avoided stumbling out of the gate, especially at the bottom, unlike the Pac-12 and ACC.

The Big Ten is 35-2 (.946) overall, including a very impressive MSU win over #4 Kentucky on a neutral floor. We went 3-1 in yesterday's Gavitt Games vs. the Big East (thanks, Minnesota!), and the Big Ten is favored (or even) in both tonight - #20 Michigan at Pitt and Iowa at Seton Hall. Wisconsin also beat Stanford on a neutral floor, so the Big Ten is 4-1 vs. "Power Six" opponents and should be 6-1 after tonight, although I admit I am more of a believer in Iowa than some others.

Like I said, the hard games start this week and it's so early in the season, but the Big Ten has taken care of business from top to bottom while some other conferences haven't ... good for Illinois, and it's easily the Illini who can do the most to boost the league's reputation in the college hoops world this week, with two matchups with ranked opponents on neutral floors (either both top 10, or top 10 and top 20). Let's go get two Ws!

Pitt may be down by 14 right now, but scUM certainly looks beatable, especially if the officiating crew calls even 1/4 of the moving screens that 'lil Hunty sets. And speaking of 'lil Hunty, he still can't handle a double team.

ESPN U Announcers are too busy bathing Bobby Knight in praise to call out that EIU just cut the lead to 3
I don’t like espn and only watch it for men’s college basketball but the game is on b1g network
