Look at all those familiar names down the Season Leaders column...

Indiana State got blown out by Auburn. Either Auburn is really good this year or IU is even more horrible than I thought.

Or IU had a really bad... I still expect a fight out of them come game time. CBB is one of the most volatile sports.

I don't think any of those familiar names can save Groce's job...

Oh believe me I don't expect easy wins against them by any means. Same with Wake Forest. But regardless we can still take pleasure in them being bad.

Elijah Thomas is on right now too. Looks fat, slow, and a total bust. Never would have made it here.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or what but Elijah has 14 and 11 with 11mins left in the game...he looks fantastic and I've only watched the second half

Also, for anyone interested, SLU is playing VA Tech at 6pm central time on ESPN2. Goodwin went 0-12 (!) in his first game but put up 8/6/8 on 1-6 shooting in his second game. Even though he's been garbage from the field, Jordan leads SLU in rebounds, assists, blocks and steals in their first two games.

Jordan Goodwin plays against Virginia Tech on ESPN2 tonight. Averaging 7 pts, 9 rebounds, 7 assists per game. Stuffing the stats sheet as expected.

I always thought Goodwin was the biggest miss we had. At the time, thought he was the better player over Tilmon as well.

This kid is everywhere. He struggles a bit on his shot but the boards, steals, blocks and put backs are gold..damn he'd look good for us. Still pissed about that.

Not to mention SLU is good, this is a top 25 team.

Not sure I agree with you on either of those thoughts. Did you see Jeremiah vs Kansas or Iowa St? That kid is the real deal. Goodwin looks pretty good right now (besides his FG%) but Jeremiah has looked really really good. Would have been a sight to see both of them in the O&B but alas

As the saying goes....if...if and butts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas....time to move on....we have some pretty good going on here in Illini country...and it's gonna get better

Wisky will probably finish top half of the league, because they always do, but they have significantly less talent than they've had in many years. At some point their mediocre recruiting has to catch up with them.
