Man, this just makes me even more disappointed in how we crumbled late in the game on Tuesday.

But there are reasons why teams miss like that. I never understand coaches saying that. We had no confidence, swagger, movement, rhythm in our second half with Purdue, most of which was because our defense failed and didn't fuel us.

This Purdue egg was predictable going on the road with a short turnaround- similar to us having to travel twice in 3 days given the reschedule of our PU game- but I have to admit the magnitude of this total beat down they are suffering is glorious to watch

I hope Michigan leaves their starters in until the buzzer

Purdue is a great team, but they are beatable, and unfortunately, they’re a pretty terrible matchup for us. As much as I’d like a “revenge” game, I’d rather see anyone else in the Big Ten Tournament from a matchup perspective.

May the Chief forgive me, this is the best I’ve ever felt after a Michigan win. Normally wouldn’t feel this way but those Purdue wounds are too fresh.

So Michigan’s 2021-22 Covid vacation resulted in Purdue having to go Tue/Thu with the second one at Michigan. I’m sure the BIG thought they were helping Michigan here, and they were, but it certainly didn’t hurt us!
