I understand his players love him. There’s nothing wrong with a coach that yells unless you’re an incredibly soft athlete.

Make that 6: 72 - 66 with 4:13 to go.

I try not to look until the games are over, or to pick winners from the competing teams.
The cream always rises to the top. The best team usually wins. I'm hoping it'll be us.

But I just don't want to see Michigan getting any momentum going into the Tournament.

And Underwood says they have the same coaching style and philosophy. Not arguing with you, but I wonder how other fanbases see underwood. On the other hand I don’t give a crap what they think!

I think most of them see BU yelling and making faces on the sidelines, and peg him as a rager. Good thing we - and more importantly, his players - know otherwise.

I think he is the only coach in their history to win a Big 12 title and he did it twice. He also took them to the elite 8 one of the only 2 times in the last 30 years. That is not a great basketball program and they are lucky to have him imo. Weber also won 2 outright Big Ten titles and 2 Missouri Valley championships. How many coaches have won multiple titles for 3 different conferences? I really don't understand all the hate for Weber considering what he did for us. I blame Paul Klee for all the hate. Klee really didn't like Weber and was such a good writer that he somehow convinced most of Illini Nation that the ONLY coach in modern history to take the Illini to a championship game and holds the Illini record for wins in a season, was a bad coach. With all that said I am happy that we ended up with BFU but still...

Watched the Purdue game with my nephew who is a Purdue fan. He commented that "our coach looks intimidating".

Yup. We talk about Purdue, Wisc, and MSU as our competition (to win the Conference), but OSU is quietly right there in the race.
