Yup. They've won 14 games in a row that have been decided by 6 points or less. That's an amazing stat.

I don’t see Wisconsin as a legitimate national title threat because you just don’t get away with that 6x in a row against NCAA Tournament teams. Wisconsin reminds me of Providence to a lesser extent this year. They’re certainly good, but their possible 16-4 Big Ten record with 1 point wins over the likes of Maryland and Minnesota doesn’t make them a title threat (and not saying we currently are much of a threat to win the title either, but more-so than the Badgers)

Exactly right. They win the games that they are supposed to win. Something that we can't seem to do. I like our team but there is something to be said for consistency.
And it takes 3-0 to close out our conference regular season, 3-0 to win the Big Ten Tourney, and 6-0 to win the ncaa tourney; that is consistency. With our 89 and 05 teams, I had no doubts. This team still has a whole lot of work to do.

Yeah feel the same. I think they match up well with most B1G teams but once they step outside of the conference I don't see them having much success. They've had a nice year but man they have escaped a lot of games with wins. They kind of luck doesn't last for very long in the NCAAs.

I would agree, because even if WI makes a run, they are bound to meet teams eventually in the tourney that will dominate them in the middle like we did. I do believe they are better than Providence or Villanova, however.

They've had some pretty good success outside of conference this year. At some point you have to give a team props for closing games not escaping them.

Beat Houston, who is not as good as their ranking. Lost to Providence and beat Marquette at home. Big whoop. That's not pretty good success and no I'm not giving them their props for that.

Watching Duke game off and on and I respect Coach K, but boy does he look like a tired man. Maybe he should have retired a few years ago. Stress is killer.
Seems to be the same thing happening to Izzo. I was watching him today, and I kept debating to myself whether he was most likely on 3 or 4 blood pressure meds.

Last six points Wisconsin scored. Free throws. At Rutgers. That’s what will get them beat in the big tournament. For whatever reason they’re a sacred cow in the big ten.

Won't turn this into the OSU post-game thread. Have a great Saturday night bootsy!

Texas Tech losing is huge we need to win out to get a 3 seed in the regular season. Don’t think BTT will affect seeding much

If we get a top 4 seed in the BTT and then win it all, 3 (most likely) quad 1 wins could have an effect depending on how other teams do.

Quite a tall order though.

In years past conference tournaments don’t affect much. I think because the games are back to back it’s not like the regular season

It's just so weird that other teams lose. Ranked ones. Even ones that had big leads. I thought we were the only ones.
