Looking for another victory at Tavistock in Windemere this weekend.
Illini are defending champs and this is a great event with a really nice field. 4 of the top 10 and 10 ranked teams out of 15.

I'll go ahead and list the teams and their current rankings. I couldn't find any listing matching up the 4/10 & 10/15 rankings you are referring to. There aren't many rankings to be had actually. I used Golfstat's relative rankings. What did you use?

I was confused but found the problem. You stated it was 10 of the top 15 teams, it's actually 10 of the top 50 teams. No biggie, still a very strong tournament field. Go Illini!

Yeah, what I meant was 10 of the 15 teams are in the top 50, i.e. NCAA tournament caliber teams.

So far everyone who has finished is over par. Middle of the pack after the first round may end up not being too bad a start.
No one had a good round, tough to score when that happens. Might be an adjustment to playing on Bermuda grass, too. 2 rounds to go and make a run.

We started on the 10th hole this morning and are playing okay, sitting at -1 for the day currently. Still sitting at +6 overall with Florida a long ways away in first at -14. Hopefully we can make up some ground on the front nine. Freshman Feagles tearing it up today at -6 through 7 holes after having a poor round yesterday.

-3 for the day, much better effort. Another tough round for Hardy, makes it difficult to do well when your best players are having an off day.
This is more of what I had expected this season, some ups and downs. The #1 ranking is nice, but I think it's premature. Getting the younger players some good experience will pay off next spring when it matters.
