Start a zillion-dollar sneaker company and East Central Illinois might become a much more attractive location for plum NCAA competitions.
Next year it's at Rich Harvest Farms. Not quite our home course, but a heck of a lot closer. Too bad we're probably in a rebuild/reload season.

Lipparelli is in a world of hurt. Fortunately Detry is about as smooth as they come so let's hope that holds out. It's about the final three spots.

I'd call Meyer a probable loss and Danielson a probable win so really it comes down to Hardy. If he can even it up soon I like our chances.
Maybe Meyer can be our Lipparelli from the quarters....

I'm happy for Edoardo to be getting this experience as a freshman.
It could serve him and us well for 3 more years.
But he needs to win a hole just to stop the tide.

With a player as great as Wise, if Meyer can get to the turn all square or better, I think the other Ducks might start to feel the pressure.
Kind of a good news/bad news there with Hardy going down 2.

Those first two matches seem like foregone conclusions.
I know there is no guarantee, but highly likely that they come out a push.
So, we're likely down to three tight matches with a small lead.
But one of those small leads is against the national champion individual.

How incredible would that be for Dylan Meyer to beat the individual champion in front of his home crowd to clinch it?
Illini going to have to win the last two matches. Not ideal when one of them is against the NCAA champion.

Meyer hit a poor approach and weak chip, but hits a really clutch par to halve the 12th.

If Oregon goes on to win this does a stink get raised over the course selection? Not as if there aren't other nice courses in Oregon. Does this happen on a regular basis? Of course this is assuming it's their home course, I thought someone mentioned earlier that is was.
