Akron needs a lot of bigs . They can stand and watch the PG roll ball up Court to there double screens. ;):D

At this rate Groce is going to have the biggest team in the country...with no one to develop them. Seriously, good for him, though.

Day by day throughout April and as the recruits narrow their school choices, this projected roster is starting to take shape.

G Frasier - Fr
G Smith - Fr
G D.Williams - Fr
G Lucas - So
G Coleman-Lands - Jr
G Jordan - Jr
F DJWillaims - Jr
F Nichols - Jr
F Badocchi - Fr
F Black - Jr
F Bragg - So (transfer sitting out 2017-18)
F Finke - Jr
C Grad Transfer/or, Tilmon

4 Freshmen; 3 Sophomores; 5 Juniors; 1 Senior (maybe).

While I like the roster, I'm not sure it will prompt any of the pundits to move us into the top half of the Big 10. When I last looked a month ago, they were picking us 11th or 12th.

Don't look for Bragg in Champaign. No room for a guy with baggage that has to sit out.

Particularly if we get Badocchi and Tilmon. Need to Crean someone(s) to get Ayo, Finke, and THT and there are other possibilities. If he could play right away, different decision.

No idea whether he is coming. But if he does, we take him.

PS - It looks like his list is short.

No. Illinois doesn't want him. Why do you think the list is short? Other schools have removed themselves from consideration. You've seen that this staff does things in stealth mode, so they haven't announced it. But he's not in their plans.

This administration is not going to take on a character rebuilding project that's going to have to sit for a year and take up a scholarship for 2018. They don't need or want another Darius Paul. Forget about Bragg. He's not coming even if he wants to.

Inside information or is this just you making assumptions?

Inside information or is this just you making assumptions?

Common sense and Loren Tate's statement on WDWS stating the above.

If you have talent and desire, it's pretty hard to be in Bill Self's doghouse. Bragg clearly spent his KU career there. If things have come out publicly, there's probably a lot more that didn't come out. Underwood is no dummy. He's done his homework and he's not about to take on a problem child. He has enough to deal.with trying to resurrect a basketball program.

No we don't. I already told you guys we are not recruiting him. It would be a huge shock if that changes.

This wouldn't surprise me, as I think BU puts a lot of emphasis on fit, but I saw a recent article that said: "According to Illini Inquirer’s Derek Piper, Illinois assistants Orlando Antigua and Jamall Walker have been in recent contact with Kansas transfer Carlton Bragg."

I'll grant you that's over a week old, but it seems we at least had interest.

Jeff Goodman, Jon Rothstein, Derek Piper and the Trib all say you are wrong.

My wholly uneducated guess is that we get two out of these three: Badocchi, Bragg & Tilmon.

We'll see. Badocchi yes, Tilmon entirely possible, Bragg absolutely not.

How are people so absolute about Bragg?? I'm either direction. If you can't post it please DM me

Has Piper said publicly that he thinks Illinois is no longer recruiting Bragg? Several sources have reported (or at least repeated) that Bragg is down to Cincinnati, ASU and Illinois. I have not seen anyone outside of forum posters state that we've lost interest.

If we have backed away, I assume there is a skeleton in his closet that we will never know about. The two public charges don't do it for me.

Tate said yesterday they stopped recruiting him. Thought Sturdy said the same. Tate said more baggage than what has been reported.

Looking at Bragg's stats from his two years at Kansas, he doesn't look like as great as he's cracked up to be. Unless I'm missing something.
