S. Carolina
No insider information, but I'll go with these odds:

40% South Carolina (guessing they must indeed have an opening.....)
30% Illinois
20% LSU
10% Pittsburgh

He probably envisions himself replacing Sindarius Thornwell's 22 ppg in the now well-established Frank Martin program.
Updated with the delayed announcement now in mind:

60% - SC (provided a scholarship opens up)
25% - ILL
10% - LSU (state of the LSU BB program trumps coaching relationship)
5% - PITT

After reading more information, SC looking to find room for Alstork and minaya. Rumors say coach Martin doesn't know of anyone leaving, but, he is not happy with a couple. They want him bad, but as stated B4 no room. The date push back is because of that, waiting for end of classes, looks to me. Seems they need 2 slots, one discussed was a medical another to be drop someone off schollie. They want him bad.

SC- 95% ( 2 schollie open). No one leaves think he's going O&B. Now we wait for SC. Kinda sucks BU and Martin, fighting over same dude. Must tell you what they think about him.:illinois:

Again, Martin said he knows of No one leaving.

This is where the Illini fanbase comes in, suggest doing your due diligence over the next few days regarding Alstork and the decision he needs to make.

So many conflicting stories on this one. So much time to contemplate who may be right, or wrong....

Whatever happens, you can take one thing to the bank: somebody will claim "recruiting is fluid".

(which of course it is, but it's a nice get-out-of-jail-free card for when you make the wrong call)

And if he should come our way, let's hope that God keeps him out of trouble. That's the kind of kid we want. :)

MA crossed Georgetown off list, what he posted. He also posted decision today, but that's changed too. Looks like we better start looking for some other resources , just in case. We still have time, school starts in August, lol. Sure the staff has ideas, hard to make things happen when you're in limbo. Can't blame MA , he just looking out for himself.

Today my gut, and since it is inside me I'm an insider, says
26% UI
25% LSU
24% SC
2% Pitt
Exactly 77%, the other 23%, well...GOTTA GO!

You seem to be pretty confident in this. Any reason why you say this in absolutes?

Because this is IllinoisLoyalty.

I know this has probably been discussed a bunch of times, but would Alstork be available for this coming season?

Yes. I very much think we will be a player in this one.

Seems his coach left NMSU to New Mexico, 2 other players are leaving NMSU also , they have been blocked from transfer in conference. 4 Star shooter, 6'5 ,180 , so nothing bad to say about decommit. Tough to see us persuing another guard, but he is out there for the pickings. Funny how these things work when new coach comes in and kid decommits, does that happen alot?:D:D

I think for alstork he's choosing between loyalty to previous relationship at LSU and best basketball situation with us.

I don't understand the S. Carolina situation. If they are so full on scholarships without any knowledge of outgoing transfers, then why the heck do they keep hosting incoming transfers on visits?

Always looking to improve your team.
