Alstork just liked a tweet about how poorly Pitt is treating Cam Johnson... Then another about how he probably isn't going to Pitt.

...so Pitt is likely out, not that there was much smoke in that direction anyway.

So Blanton leaving the SC basketball team opens up a spot for Alstork right? Seems he probably knew this was going to happen today. Guess I'll go with SC as the pick for Alstork.

The scholarship opening at USC will go to Minaya I believe. I think Alstork's going to LSU.

He also said Agau to Maryland.

I think Tate usually gets his info from assistant coaches. He's said before that the coaches almost always know. Sometimes there's a surprise (like Cliff) or the coaches have no idea, but generally they know.

Recruiting is covered very well on WDWS podcasts and the Tay and Jay show.

One scholarship available at South Carolina. We get Alstork, they get Minaya? Or vice-versa... I'm sure Illinois would take Minaya as well.

Get McIntosh and Alstork and they can make the tourney. Black ,Smith and TJL with those two would be a pretty good lineup. 8 or 9 win Big 10 team.

So no Alstork, No Agau, missed on several others... seniors graduating and players transferring.... the locker room could be plenty spacious next year.

McIntosh is quickly becoming a must-get with the way this roster shaking out. Huge opportunity for PT at the B1G level.

To me McIntosh is way more important then Alstork, but yeah I would love to get Alstork. I am all for throwing Smith, Trent and DaWill into the fire and let them learn as we go this year. kind of like back when Lon K was the coach we took lumps at first but got better and better by the end of the year had a chance to win the Big 10 Tourney but ran out of gas
