Is there a tie breaker or co-champs
Lower fifth-man score makes the difference, I think.

They did play a different golf course but still impressive. An ironic twist. The two Illini who played as individuals had our two lowest scores which, of course, didn't count toward the team score.
We have a very deep team this year which will be a advantage if we make it to the NCAA match play. I think this is Small’s most consistent team over the past 10 years. An ironic twist. I didn't know that. Thanks. They did play a different golf course but still impressive.

Coaches choice, plain and simple.Does anyone know what determines the five-man team? Is it simply the lowest scoring averages or are other things at play?
It seems logical and fair that you go with the five lowest averages. But what do I know.
Thanks.
If you want some college golf on TV, check out Western Intercollegiate at 6 p.m. central on Golf Channel. Good field.
Think Illinois will make the NCAA Championships? This is one of the best teams in the nation, even if they collapse down the stretch, which they wont, they have already done more then enough to get in. They have yet to finish outside the top 5 in a match and have 3 wins. This is a very good team.Consistent? Hope so. I think (hope) Illinois will make it to the NCAA Championship.
But I prefer the Guthrie, Pieters, Detry, Danielson, Meyer, Hardy et al era over the past 10 years
