Fred Hoiberg is tremendous at scheme. Big Ten coaches all marvel at it. But scheme doesn’t win in college basketball or football. It certainly seems he’s a better fit in
Muller at Ill St out.

He coached under Bryce Drew at Valpariso and Vanderbuilt for 8(?) years and has spent 2.5 years under Few at Gonzaga.
We need to have somebody ready when Brad retires (he is 68). Scott Nagy has Illinois ties and is doing well. Howard seems content to collect big assistants paycheck and recruit. Hopeful that Chester helps us win NCAA title then gets his first HC job. Deon appears to have given up coaching. Dee has been moving backward and is now at UICC

I like how they attached every photo ever taken of Muller at the end of the story. Also see that he is leaving immediately rather than finishing out the season.
He is getting a one million dollar buyout so he will survive. He is a great guy. Ran a clean program.
