Bruce Pearl; perfect fit.Sounds like things aren't going too well in Louisville:
Was talking with a friend of mine that's a Louisville alum and apparently Bruce Pearl is being talked about by some as a replacement there but it's WAY too early to say as far as actual candidates.
Satan; hell.Bruce Pearl; perfect fit.
Pearl and hookers. Sounds about right.Bruce Pearl; perfect fit.
Even the hookers would say no!Pearl and hookers. Sounds about right.
I bet they go after Underwood.Louisville is learning how hard it is to win in P5 conference. Football has regressed. Pitino was buying his players.
Bruce Pearl would be home run hire for any school thwat was not concerned about ethics / history / NCAA. Note: NCAA is no longer factor for anybody.
He has rebuilt program at U Wisconsin Milwaukee, Tennesse and Auburn and has been to final 4.
I bet they go after him.
And he warrants a call, but would he listen? After all we are BU’s dream job, unless dreams change.I bet they go after Underwood.
And he warrants a call, but would he listen?
Musselman seems a no brainer given those 2 choices. My guy has always been Buzz Williams. Looks like he's already got Texas A&M turned around. Two names for Louisville I am hearing from multiple college coaches: Steve Forbes & Eric Musselman.
FWIW, I would bet my bottom dollar that they at least give BU's agent a phone call.
And he warrants a call, but would he listen?
"Thanks, but no thanks..."

They are one of only about a dozen that have won a championship this century. (In the lifetime of these players)Louisville seems like a huge rebuild. It is not UK KU UNC Duke or UCLA
I loved when they asked Deon a few years ago if he would ever be able to forgive Pearl and he said, “It’s hard to forgive a snake.”Can't see Pearl taking the Ville job. That is unless the $$ are enormous. He has what he wants at Auburn, a conference and a school, AD, boosters and fans that care nothing about honesty, morality, or ethics. Why leave?
Pearl and hookers. Sounds about right.
Reports are that it is around 1/3 of what his contractual buyout was. Not sure why coach Mack would agree to that but it is crazy if accurate. My understanding is that they are still awaiting possible sanctions (?) and that may be a mark against quality candidates applying? They are one of only about a dozen that have won a championship this century. They bought out Mack with $12 million left on his contract. While it’s reported that Mack agreed to take less than the total on the contract, it certainly suggests that money isn’t really a problem. Everyone takes that call, even if it’s just for leverage.
Not a great roster, but the cupboard certainly isn’t bare. If they get the right coach & a couple good transfers, they could be right back in the mix in the ACC.
