What a crazy finish today. Just when you think the weekend would go completely south for the Sox.

Abreu scores the game winning run on a passed ball, just narrowly avoiding the tag. What a way to salvage a split.

Managing a split against a inferior team is exactly what good teams do. Now to be a great team, we need to get rid of some of those mistakes that happen when a player doesn't seem to be focused 100% on the game.

What a cool way for Jose Abreu to have the game winning play in his 999th game!

Couldn't overturn the call because there wasn't clear evidence to support it. Each camera angle told a different story. Awesome play by Abreu to avoid the tag.

No Abreu, no problem tonight. Sox massacre the Twins 16-4. Nick Madrigal hit his first career homer. Danny Mendick with a grand slam.

Fun night!

Tough one to lose. You have to pitch around Sano in the 8th. No way you can allow him to beat you there.

On to the next one.

What a frustrating series. Had an opportunity to steal two games but came away empty.

First real bad stretch of the season so far. Just hope it’s a bump in the road

One of the strangest games I've seen in a while. Guess the Cardinals weren't allowed to play defense tonight.

Flaherty gets his first L, though the aforementioned Cardinals defense was more to blame for that than anything.

Got a series W at home after a tough weekend.

Yep, now we need to continue to win series. Should help that Engle is coming back soon. Sounds like we dodged a bullet with Kopech.

Cease was money last night. Highest pitch count thus far. Encouraging way to end his outing.

The Madrigal news is brutal. Sounds like a season ender to me. But big ups to the Sox for pulling it out tonight. Took 2 of 3 from the Jays. Really had a playoff type atmosphere to it.

4.5 game lead over Cleveland.

Hendriks blows his first save in almost two months, which also happened to be the last time he gave up an ER. No one's perfect.

Sox still found a way to win it in extras against a suddenly pesky Detroit Tigers squad.

Holy crap that was quite the beating today. Certainly didn't see that coming with that lineup. Brian Goodwin's first two ABs in a Sox uniform were an RBI double and a 3-run bomb. 5 RBIs total.

Sox are embracing the 'next man up' mentality. 40 wins now.

What a game yesterday between the top two teams in the league. I had a feeling Tampa would comeback. I believe they have the largest late inning run differential in MLB and Sox bullpen has been really shaky at times.

Injuries to major starters and here they are. I don’t know how but I’m loving every bit of it. Sox starting pitchers had another strong series holding down a tough lineup. Hahn should be scouring every club for more relief help at the very least.

A series to forget in Houston. They didn’t do much of anything right against a hot team at their house. Scrub this from memory and get ready to (hopefully) beat up on the Pirates.
