That’s what I saw on Twitter, but didn’t say if it was a two-way deal or not.Any truth to the Jazz rumor?

Yes two way is better than exhibit 10. Even Giorgi got an exhibit 10.Man, Jazz signed Johnny Juzang to a 2-way deal and Kofi to an Exhibit 10. Unfortunately that kind of speaks volumes as to what kind of a market there was for Kofi as a UDFA. Have to think if anyone was offering a 2-way he'd have taken that over this Exhibit 10.
Vecenie had him at 17.Projected low first rounder. Bulls took him for insurance now and as a guy later who has great upside but needs a lot of work, starting with muscle strength. Passing, transition, and defending are strengths. Really gets into passing lanes with his length. I think Bulls don't want another collapse down the stretch from injury and fatigue.
NBA "minimum" is 995k...if that's what he gets, probably explains his choice to pass up NIL.For those that don't pay ultra close attention the CBA
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract. The deal has a particular Exhibit 10 attached to it and no bonuses come along with it. This attachment is included in the contract after both the sides (team and the player) have agreed to it.
An Exhibit 10 contract gives a franchise the flexibility to convert it into a two-way deal, but the team has to ensure that it happens before the commencement of the regular season. Exhibit 10 deals are usually non-guaranteed, which means the team can waive the player and get the cap hit off their payroll.
If a player is on an Exhibit 10 contract with a particular team, it would allow him to participate in that franchise's training camp. The team will control that player's G League rights, and he is eligible to get $50,000 if he manages to spend 60+ days with the G-League affiliate. Signing a basketball athlete to an Exhibit 10 contract works out well for NBA teams, who hold the option to cut them or include them in the roster if they play well.
An Exhibit 10 contract also works out well for a player trying to get into the NBA. This kind of deal gives him a chance to impress the franchise and become a part of the roster. NBA is a tough league to be a part of considering the roster size of teams and talent depth the game of basketball possesses, and an Exhibit 10 contract offers athletes a very lucrative option to prove their worth.
What is an Exhibit 10 contract in the NBA?
There are a variety of contracts in the NBA, ranging from guaranteed to ten-day contracts.www.sportskeeda.com
He'll only get that if he doesn't get waived, or if they don't convert it to a two-way deal. One of those two outcomes are what happens to almost all Exhibit 10 players. In practice, an Exhibit 10 contract is basically a training camp invite.NBA "minimum" is 995k...if that's what he gets, probably explains his choice to pass up NIL.
Copy...if you are playing in g league with E10 contact (not waived) believe you are making 995k...i.e giorgi last seasonHe'll only get that if he doesn't get waived, or if they don't convert it to a two-way deal. Incorrect. He was waived, cleared waivers, and signed on a straight G league deal. Made significantly less than a two-way player.Copy...if you are playing in g league with E10 contact (not waived) believe you are making 995k...i.e giorgi last season
Felt unbelievably wrong watching players that Kofi flat out would and did dominate get drafted one after another. Yet the National and Big Ten player of the year candidate goes undrafted. Who averaged a double double. Make it make sense. Go be great KING KOFI! I-L-L
What is even the point of saying this? Nobody is saying Kofi is able to matchup well with Jokic. Almost nobody matches up well with Jokic. This horse is beat dude. Let it die.
Kofi should have come back. Would have been great for us and good for him. Hopefully he can land in a favorable spot for summer league. G League is tough but gotta keep grinding.
No he got snubbed. I hope he proves the doubters wrong.NBA front offices don't look at Kofi the same way we do. Yeah he was a great college player. But there have been a lot of great college players that haven't amounted to anything in the NBA.
We had someone on here saying that Kofi would dominate 85% of current NBA centers. Which is such an unbelievably bad take. A lot of people on here need to look at Kofi from a realist not idealist point of view. I'm not doubting that he's a great player. But he has such massive deficiencies that it would take a lot of commitment from an NBA franchise for him to stick.
Not how I read what he said. And actually it's not much commitment at all from an NBA franchise, they can cut him loose whenever they want, the commitment is all on Kofi who I trust will get it done.NBA front offices don't look at Kofi the same way we do. Really hope he made his decision based on readiness to move on rather than $$$. If not he got some bad advice because an honest assessment would have pegged that as a bad bet.Disappointing for sure. I understand his decision but wish he'd have taken the NIL and come back.
