5-1 the first six is the highest I'd put it (not saying they'll be 5-1; just the highest reasonable bar). Boy that Duke game feels just like KU this past year (except it's on the road). If you can win that and split USC/IU... that really sets you up well.

Luke Altmyer can do something next year that only one other quarterback in Illinois history has done -- start and win bowl games in back-to-back seasons.
Nathan Scheelhaase started and won the Texas Bowl and the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl following the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He went 2-0
Jeff George started bowls in back to back seasons -- All American in 1988 and Citrus Bowl following the 89 season. He went 1-1.
Jason Verduzco is the only Illini quarterback to start bowl games three years in a row. He was winless at 0-3
No other Illini QB has started bowl games in back-to-back seasons.
