2026 NFL Draft Thread
It looks like the first three picks will be Mendoza, Bailey and Reese. After that, who knows. The Cowboys are looking to trade up to 6 to get Sonny Styles. They need a LB who can make plays as they are transforming into a 3-4. It will be a fun night to see where Illini players will go.
Are any Illini expected to be chosen tonight?
The only one who would be close would be Jacas, and most projections have him as a late 2nd round at the earliest. He's a good player, maybe even great. But he's not first round great, in my opinion. Set a reminder to come back here in 10 years and make me eat my words though!
Not expected and I don't think it will happen, but Jacas has been getting a lot of buzz. I still think he goes mid to late 2nd Round, but there's an outside chance a team is really sold on him and takes him late 1st.
