This is definitely not the Ivey that played against us. He’s got NBA all-star talent but it seems like he goes long stretches where he just coasts or his head isn’t in the game.

You should watch the game before asking that. Dickenson was doing his shuffle down the court (the way he runs, lol), pointing and yelling at the MSU bench.
It isnt just me that disagrees with this display. It was out of control enough that the refs and Izzo to great exception too. The zebras had a lo g talk with HD.

Seems like our style with Kofi plays right into Purdues hands.
When you spread the floor and make Edey chase to the perimeter he gets completely taken out of the game. Banging down with Kofi as crazy as it sounds is what he prefers far over what Wisconsin is doing.

Cheering for Purdue amounts to: “yes, great moving screen, yes, another one… great job Edey ramming yourself towards the rim over and over again!” I need a shower.
So the battle for the Big Ten title is an ugly rock fight. Guess we know who wins those.

No idea why Painter had Edey on Wahl and Gillis on Crowl. Seems like the more natural matchups would have been better.
Purdue's execution is horrible. Missing cutters, missing bunnies, Trevion is ice cold, and Hepburn for Wisky is on a heater.
Biggest game in Kohl center history? It could be….but the 2003 game game against Illinois that gave Wiscy the title and prevented what could have been 5 straight Illini titles from 2001 to 2005 is right up there too.
Iowa might go into the BTT as the highest rated team in Kenpom despite being like the 6th seed. Wouldn’t love a 1st round matchup against a team where we’re the Vegas underdog. Plus, they’ve really been playing well lately.
Purdue played like crap against IU, MSU, Michigan, and Rutgers, but this may be the worst effort level I have seen - and in the biggest game. They are playing like its an exhibition. Slow cuts, sloppy passes, lackadaisical defensive, not meeting passes. Just awful effort.
