I can't get my video to work, but it looks like the last minute of this Marshall/WSU game is going to take about 20 minutes to play.

I didn’t think Wichita was that great but still surprised Marshall is apparently going to beat them

Illinois beat Marshall - Marshall beat Wichita State - Illinois beat Wichita State in the NCAA Tournament.

Did Coach Marshall's wife go crazy when Marshall beat WSU?

I still think the best would be to combine the NIT and the NCAA. As I would do it, NCAA would limited (as it used to be) to conference champs. Winner is deemed "national champion." (Don't win your conference, you're can't get the "national" championship.) NIT is expanded to the next best 64 or 68. Winner of that tournament is deemed "NIT champ." The winners of the two tournaments play each other (maybe on the home court of the "national champion") for the "tournament championship."
I would go a step further and make the NIT brackets truly geographic (all B1G teams play in the Midwest bracket, for example) to keep interest in early games high (Loyola v. Michigan in the first round, anyone?) and burden on athletes low, and make things like "Midwest Champion" sort of meaningful.

As much as would like to see Purdue not win the tourney this year, never want it to be like this. Haas has put his four years in, never want it to end on a note like this. Feel worse for him than the team

Musselman just dropped F-bombs in the locker room if I heard right. This is the potty mouthiest day in tournament coverage history. lol

You heard right. To say he was a little pumped up would be an overstatements. To paraphrase "What an effing game".

They just apologized on TBS for the "colorful" language

So Nevada just beat Texas in the NCAA tournament with a guy from Champaign and a guy from St. Charles :(

Yes, but how many "stars" did they have -- you do realize we would likely have trashed whatever coach dared recruit non 4- and 5-star players on this board.

I believe that Kendall Stephens was a 4-star recruit when he signed with Purdue. I know that Illinois offered him a scholarship.

If I remember right we probably weren’t going to take Malcom and Stephens in the same
Class so at the time I’m sure we were happy with what we had
